The KBA visits Capitol Hill

Thirty-five KBA delegates made their way to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1 for the annual Washington, DC Fly-in. Delegates had the opportunity to meet with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senator Rand Paul, Congressman Andy Barr, Congressman Jamie Comer, Congressman Brett Guthrie, Congressman Thomas Massie, Congressman Hal Rogers and Congressman John Yarmuth.

The delegation discussed several issues that will have a direct impact on the broadcast industry including the performance tax, advertising tax deductibility, retransmission consent, spectrum relocation fund, and public broadcasting. On Tuesday, February 28, the KBA visited with Senator Rand Paul.
