News Director needed!

This is a management position that oversees the operation of the news department and must be available and on call 24/7 for news/weather breaking stories.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Writing 12+ local new stories daily with actualities
• Voice newscasts for 3 locally oriented stations.
• Cover local meetings
• Prepare 6-8 stories daily for digital news service that is emailed to subscribers

This position is a permanent, full time, with regular morning hours, a few late night meetings, and some Saturdays. It requires an energetic, locally focused, and news oriented person who is “ready to go” in the event of breaking news.

Administrative and Traffic Assistant

LM Communications has an immediate opening for an Administrative and Traffic Assistant within their 6 radio station cluster in Lexington, Kentucky . This is an entry level opportunity with room for career growth. Primary roles will consist of answer all incoming calls and door traffic, working with listeners prize distribution, assisting advertising sales executives and department heads. This person will also be well trained to be an assistant and back up for our Traffic manager.
