SummitMedia Louisville is adding to our programming staff and seeking a reliable part-time morning traffic reporter. Fun, energetic, “always-on-time” personality a must! Candidate must have broadcast experience or degree in broadcasting. Candidates should be knowledgeable of Louisville Metro and surrounding roadways. Other duties include light production, board operations, and setting up a daily syndication show. This position will be approximately 22 hours per week. The ideal candidate for this is a good communicator, versatile employee, and both a punctual and reliable person. Expect a fast-paced, challenging, and friendly environment. News Director

News Director needed!

This is a management position that oversees the operation of the news department and must be available and on call 24/7 for news/weather breaking stories.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Writing 12+ local new stories daily with actualities
• Voice newscasts for 3 locally oriented stations.
• Cover local meetings
• Prepare 6-8 stories daily for digital news service that is emailed to subscribers

This position is a permanent, full time, with regular morning hours, a few late night meetings, and some Saturdays. It requires an energetic, locally focused, and news oriented person who is “ready to go” in the event of breaking news.
