LM Communications, the only locally owned and operated media company in Lexington, Kentucky is looking for great Senior Account Executive to represent 6 great radio stations: Your 106.3, 107.9 The Beat, Classic Rock 92.1, ESPN Sports Radio, KISS FM, and Hank 96.1.  We are looking for energetic, outgoing, motivated individuals with at least THREE years or more RADIO sales experience. Must be willing to make cold calls to open up new accounts. To get this job, you must have experience reporting on energy, science and/or the environment and a love of storytelling in many forms. You should regularly use social media for sourcing, storytelling and distribution. We also want someone who knows how to work with data and public documents, and gets excited about filing open records requests.

News Director

News Director needed!

This is a management position that oversees the operation of the news department and must be available and on call 24/7 for news/weather breaking stories.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Writing 12+ local new stories daily with actualities
• Voice newscasts for 3 locally oriented stations.
• Cover local meetings
• Prepare 6-8 stories daily for digital news service that is emailed to subscribers

This position is a permanent, full time, with regular morning hours, a few late night meetings, and some Saturdays. It requires an energetic, locally focused, and news oriented person who is “ready to go” in the event of breaking news.
