The successful candidate will: operate teleprompter, studio cameras, audio, and run graphics. Other duties will include contributing stories to and our mobile apps as well as associate producing and editing video. Previous television experience preferred. WAVE 3 News in Louisville, KY is seeking an Audience Development and Brand Manager. This creative leader will be responsible for growing digital audience on mobile, web and social platforms, building our broadcast audience through social and digital platforms, supporting the Digital Sales Manager by creating non-news sponsored content opportunities, working with the Director of Digital Media to improve engagement on all digital platforms, and supporting the Director of Marketing and Audience Development’s efforts by managing station promotion on all digital platforms. The Audience Development and Brand Manager will work to expand its rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media presence, and will deliver social and digital assignments to other employees within the department. This key leader is both a manager of product and people. The ideal candidate is an expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography and Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

Exceptional organization and strategic thinking is required to implement market research recommendations and achieve goals in audience development and revenue growth.  This individual is a hands-on producer, who also manages the production and trafficking of station digital marketing content as well as providing assistance to digital sales and news content projects as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video or other related field is preferred. A minimum of 3 years proven working experience in digital marketing producing measurable results using the latest trends and best practices. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and inspire. Expert knowledge of analytic tools, HTML and CMS applications.

Must provide creative reel demonstrating advanced knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and DSLR cinematography.  Candidate must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.

Our successful candidate will need a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field. We’re looking for reporting experience with a lot of live. Our reporters and our anchors are storytellers who do great in the field and love breaking news. They know how to bring context to the difficult stories and how to go beyond just reflecting an event. Job Description
Production Director/Imaging Director/air-personality for SummitMedia’s four station cluster in Louisville. (WQNU, WRKA, WSFR, WVEZ). This position holds oversight of all commercial production, to include writing, producing, system upload and assigning client commercial production.

Also, responsible for working directly with the P.D.’s and O.M. to coordinate and produce specific station imaging. This position also includes a daily airshift to be determined at a later date. This position requires a strong working relationship and daily communication with the D.O.S., Sales and Traffic Director to insure the integrity of our commercial inventory and logs.

Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative, and productive. May be asked to perform others duties – as needed – for the effective operation of the stations.

You must have prior radio experience and proficiency with computer programs and basic knowledge of Adobe Audition and Maestro. You must be a team player, self-motivated, with attention to detail. Attendance/Punctuality is a must.
